laurinor asked: Diamonds are actually pretty cool when you think about how they form. The theory is, because we know they have to form at such extreme pressures and rise to the surface very quickly (or else they will just turn back to shitty graphite before they get to the surface), they shoot up from the mantle super fast in things called kimberlite pipes. It's actually pretty boss. Noone has observed it...
darthzems asked: could you explain why diamonds are weak?
Diamonds are weak.
Despite being a 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, diamonds are weak. Advice to anyone who may propose to me: Don’t do it with a diamond. How about Tanzanite, Tourmaline, or something uncut, in its more natural state? (I hope no diamonds were offended by this post)
vicer0y-bubbles-v0n-salamancer asked: what does var. stand for
I accidentally set my laptop background to
a picture of Tanzanite. Why can’t all my mistakes be this fortunate?
Bringing back the barter system.
I am house/dogsitting in exchange for minerals. Hell yes.
I have a little something up my sleeve.
