Anonymous asked: Do you have any posts on smithsonite? I tried to type it in your search and it doesn't work :(

That search box doesn’t work! I tried to mess around with theme to get it to work, but I couldn’t figure it out. In order to search for Smithsonite you can type in:

www.mineralia.tumblr.com/tagged/smithsonite

And if anyone would like to search for anything else you just add “tagged/whateveryouaresearchingfor”.

I even tag by where it is from and sometimes by color!

lifethroughgeologictime asked: Diamonds are minerals...

Diamonds are minerals, yes. But I said in their natural form. I don’t want a cut mineral, is all I was saying. A huge part of the appeal of minerals to me is that they form into their own shape. And I think there are other minerals that are much more beautiful than diamonds.

klaudia-me asked: I absolutely love your tumblr! I think that minerals are way too much better than diamonds :)

So crazy you said that! Just 15 minutes ago I met some of my boyfriend’s friends and one of them was saying how he needs to give me a diamond soon. I responded by saying how I wouldn’t even want a diamond. I’d rather have a mineral in its natural form. :) :) :)
