my “weeklong” Mineralia Mine Black Friday Sale is still going on. I guess I can call it my “Too Lazy to Change Back the Prices Sale”. So hop on it. Before I get some energy.
It’s incredible to know you appreciate the work I’ve put in to this passion of mine. I love sharing photos and getting a discussion going about minerals. I wish you’re weren’t anonymous, my long-time follower! Thank you.

My penny mirror is up on my bedroom wall! Lately, I’ve been experimenting with the patina process of pennies and making functional art with them.
That is an interesting idea. I wonder how the zinc-cored pennies alter their appearances compared to the solid copper pennies of yore.
You know, I thought there would be major differences between current pennies and pre-1983 pennies when the copper content changed from 95% to 2.5%. HOWEVER, oddly enough I have not noticed any noticeable differences. I am still in early stages of experimentation. I need to have experiments with isolated variables so I can get some solid answers!!!
go to Namibia and mine my very own Dioptase, I would be the happiest girl in the world. I guess it’s not out of the question…..
