My favorite minerals:
Azurite~Chalcopyrite~Dioptase~Opal~Rhodochrosite~
Tourmaline
This seven-inch Azurite crystal is one of the finest of many superb specimens from the copper mines at Tsumeb, South Africa. Mining here has passed the oxidized zone that produced such crystal; no more are likely to emerge.

Philly Friends:

If you’re interested in buying something from my Mineralia Mine, but are hesitant to buy online and live in the Philadelphia area, I can schedule a meeting with you to look at the minerals you’re interested in.

While the photos are true to real-life, it can be nice to see the mineral in person before buying. Contact me at emily.mineralia@gmail.com if you’d like to schedule a meetup!

Temple University Friends!

Temple U’s Geology Club is having their annual Rock and Mineral Sale in Tuttleman! Tomorrow is the last day! Catch them between 9-4. I spotted lots of Labradorite!

Their rock sale two years ago is how I first heard about the Geology Club and what heightened my love for minerals. So, this is dear to my heart. I was forever changed by walking to my elective Law class one morning two years ago. If you go to Temple you should consider joining, even if it is only to go to the American Museum of Natural History in New York in the Spring semester. I will be in the Guggenheim Hall of Minerals all day falling in love and having lust-attacks.
