I have not read any information about Sun-stone being man made. It is actually mined by rock hounds in Southern Oregon. And I have found a few Sun-stones myself. :)
The answer I gave was about Goldstone, which is an imitation of naturally occurring Sunstone. I’m glad my followers keep me on my toes though!
